Sun House

We had booked a Deluxe room, but were moved to a standard one because the others smelled. We ended up going through rooms 304, 305, and 306, and every one was dirty. The sheets always had hair and fur on them, so it was obvious they hadn't been changed. There was dust all over the dirty floors, and the beds were unclean too. The bathroom smelled like sewage, and the shower drain was clogged. I complained each day, but nothing was done to improve things. The mattress had worn down in the middle, which made the bed uncomfortable. For what we paid, this wasn't acceptable. The hotel is part of a Chinese restaurant and is managed by Asians. Unfortunately, it was dirty. I wouldn't recommend sleeping here. Go somewhere else.

We were made to feel very welcome!

The staff at Sun House are so friendly and helpful. The girls working there are lovely, and they'll suggest dishes if, like me, you're not familiar with Chinese food. I've visited a few times for meals and takeout, though I haven't stayed overnight. The sushi is really tasty, the main dishes are good too, and the duck is delicious. I definitely recommend visiting the restaurant.

For the price, this is the best value around. The room was warm and clean, with a comfortable bed and two big pillows. Public transport is convenient, though getting to the city center takes about 40 minutes. Half the rooms look onto the main road. There's no breakfast option, but a small pub is just 50m away, and the restaurant serves good sushi.
