Jan, the host, had arranged the apartment nicely for us and was kind and responsive whenever we ran into difficulties. The location is excellent. Just keep in mind there are nearly 120 steps to the sixth floor, so it may not suit older people. I also wish there’d been a spare key, since you have to go downstairs to let anyone in. I’d still recommend the room to young couples and bachelors.

It was such a cozy, lovely apartment that leaving it felt sad, like leaving home. You can get everywhere on foot from this handy spot, and we’ll be recommending it to all our friends. We loved it.

We got to move in early, which was a fantastic welcome, and the whole team was lovely. The apartment was quiet, clean, comfortable, and really well equipped. A tram and supermarket are only a three-minute walk away, and you reach the start of the city center in five minutes. There are markets, but the location and views over Prague’s rooftops make the steps worthwhile.
