There’s no privacy at the windows: they’re large, there are no blinds, and the building across is close. Getting into the apartment was also a hassle since it’s in a building with no signs. You have to reach the owner for instructions, and without a local SIM or internet that meant running around trying to find Wi-Fi. After the room was cleaned, some of our things were gone. The owner said it wasn’t them. The shower was broken, and after we reported it, the owner thanked us but it wasn’t fixed. The bathroom ceiling leaked too. The location was okay, and the bar across the street seemed to be for locals. I really regret staying here. It put a damper on our time in Prague, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend it.

The studio for three was worn out and smelled of cigarettes. When the owner said it hadn’t smelled the day before, the response made it sound like we should have arrived earlier. Meanwhile, the two-room apartment for six was fairly clean and had a nice bathroom. We’d rented both for one night with friends before our flight. Calling these places Top Apartments feels like a cruel joke. Thanks for the experience, but we’ll avoid it next time.

The location worked perfectly for us, two young couples. The museum and Vltava River were within walking distance, with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Booking and check-in were smooth, and the layout gave us two separate bedrooms and a shared living room. There was loads of space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a separate toilet and bathroom. The handover cleanliness was the problem. The bathroom surfaces were dirty, the dining table still had red wine stains from the previous guests, and the kitchen was dirty too. If it had been clean, I’d have given it five stars.

Riegrovy sady is right nearby, a lovely park for walks and sunsets with the stare mĕsto frame. The place is spacious and well located, though it’s outside the center. You can walk into town or take the tram.
