A cool place.

The pizza was good, though I only managed to eat one warm piece. I’d been waiting for the owner since 5 in a horrible room, and when I asked for an invoice for my company, as we’d agreed, he said he’d never promised that on the phone. He threatened to call the police if I didn’t pay within 30 minutes. I said I wanted to eat my pizza in peace first. The room was a flop: a stone in the shower from neglect, terrible-smelling waste, a bin half full, and expired cheese in the fridge. It smelled like beauty. The bed linen looked about 20 years old. The owner was absolutely arrogant, unprofessional, unpleasant, rude, and aggressive. Worst accommodation of my life. The accommodation is terrible and the owner is a cocoon. Best regards, Hájek.

It’s quiet here despite being near the train station. The owner was absolutely great, kind, helpful, and funny. The accommodation is excellent for the price. I’ll definitely stay here again on another trip.

I’d booked a stay and planned to arrive at 6 in the evening, but nobody was there. You have to go through a pedestrian zone and into a courtyard that fits at most four cars. There’s a drinks vending machine in the courtyard, so people mill around near the cars. The guesthouse is freely accessible from the courtyard and isn’t locked. In cold seasons, you might have a lively night if some individual kicks in your door. Luckily, I didn’t end up staying and was spared all of that. Thanks, but never again.
