The owner was friendly and easy to talk to, and it was clear he cares about guests having a good stay. We came with four families and young kids for a long weekend, and we’re already thinking about coming back. There’s plenty to do nearby, while the cottage has its own charm, with a playground, pool, sauna, and a big shared room.

Dobříš is only about 10 minutes away for Billa, Lidl, and Penny. Back at the cottage, there’s a well-equipped kitchen downstairs that stays pleasantly cool even in hot weather, plus a pool and sauna. We had enough comfortable rooms and beds for our family and small dog, and the bathrooms were great. Parking is in the yard or in front. The surrounding woods are lovely for walks, and there’s an old quarry nearby that you can visit for free.

We had a great holiday here with our dog. It’s quiet and peaceful, the surroundings are lovely, and the owner was helpful and made sure we had what we needed. Pecka.

The big table in the downstairs common room really made Christmas feel special, and you can even watch TV from the stove. We’ve now spent Christmas here with our extended family for the second year, and it’s a stay we’ll remember for a long time. We could decorate the cottage and bring a tree. It’s peaceful, and a lovely choice if you’re a group looking for somewhere with a bit of magic. The owner is kind and very helpful, and is right next door in the garden if anything comes up.
