Penzion Silma

Really, really lovely 😋😋😋

Fantastic.

We used to come here now and then for years, but I won't be back. The place is in a nice spot and the parking is great. They also shifted our booking to the following weekend without any trouble. But they should have told us there was a wedding filling the rest of our floor, leaving us as the only “gadžov” room in that wing. They said there was one more double room available and left out that detail. The woman handling booking and accommodation calls apologized a lot and said she hadn't known about the wedding. If the owners don't know who is staying in their rooms, and their surname is figuratively “Horváth”, they've got a real problem. A simple heads-up would've been enough. This just isn't on, whether the wedding was dark or light. Both nights, someone woke us up between 10:30 and 1:30. On the first, I only had to ask two adults and their two children to stop running in the hall, and it worked. The second night was much worse. They screamed from 9 until 1:30 in the morning, ran through the hallway and banged on every door. When I spoke up, there were so many of them that I nearly got hit in the head. My girlfriend and I packed quickly and went to sleep at a family's home in Rychvalda, even though their house was being renovated and they had pretty limited options for putting us up. Owners and operators, you should be ashamed of this practice. If you'd told me plainly that there'd be a wedding on our floor and we'd be the only room among the wedding guests, I would've gladly paid the cancellation fee and found somewhere else.

The kids made the most of the garden and outdoor terrace, and everything was clean and tidy. We chose Silma for a birthday celebration and were completely satisfied. The food was excellent, and everyone especially enjoyed the goulash.
