Hotel Excelent

We could order right away because the brewery was empty, though the waiter looked surprised anyone had turned up. We ate, then spent another half hour in the local toilets before heading home for the rest of the evening. A real experience in the lovely brewery surroundings. I'd recommend it to anyone dealing with constipation. Bring plenty of toilet paper for the journey.

The goulash was gastro hell, salty as a rock. When we sent it back, they said they'd served 25 goulash that day and nobody else had returned one. The waitress asked whether they could give us a "cancellation," as she put it, and did so, but didn't ask if we wanted anything else. No apology, just an arrogant attitude, and apparently she had to go light a cigarette. This was meant to be a festive lunch, and the whole experience was terrible. In a restaurant with five tables, I waited for the menu and got one portion of potatoes. Fries cost extra. Apparently there were no potatoes, though that's probably my fault. The menu said to expect a 30-45 minute wait, but potatoes cook in 20 minutes. The broth tasted like Aunt Vitana's. One star only because I can't give less. I don't recommend it, avoid the place completely!

The food itself was good, but the service was awful. When we complained about how we were treated and how long the food took, the owner insulted us instead of trying to keep our business. We had asked for things like bringing the appetizers together at a reasonable time, or at least an apology if something would take longer, and a spoon for the spaghetti. We'd arranged this in advance as a family celebration, and it turned into a family disaster. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for that. In a region that depends on tourism income, this kind of arrogance is unheard of. We spend quite a lot of time in Rýmařov, but we'll never go back.

We've been waiting about an hour and only the soup has arrived. There are lots of hungry eyes looking around. I ordered trout and it feels like they've gone out to catch it. Terrible, like the staff are incompetent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! After an hour and fifteen minutes, the waitress told us the chef had run out of potatoes and it would be ready in 10 minutes. We left immediately. I have no polite words for it!
