We’ll definitely come back. The two hosts are lovely and do everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Tucked into the forest on the mountain, it’s a peaceful place to unwind. You can sit outside and take in the quiet and the scenery, or head out trekking or mountain biking. The kitchen is great too, with fresh food cooked with care.

You can still get online thanks to the Wi-Fi, though this is a quiet spot in the mountain forest, not somewhere you can reach by public transport. After some time on the road, arriving here feels like a proper escape. Everything is simple and good. Strongly recommend.

Sitting on the terrace feels like being right in the forest. It’s a cozy place for a break from everyday life, with lovely rooms and very pleasant owners. The location is wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was better than I expected: they asked if we wanted coffee or tea, then brought an omelette with sausage. I’d love to return someday 😊

The food was a highlight. Dinner, soup included, was absolutely luxurious. Since there were hardly any other guests, we could choose what we wanted. Breakfast was good too. They can’t offer fresh pastries every day, but the owner made up for it with tasty pancakes or zucchini fritters each day. The owners were very nice, and the guesthouse is secluded and peaceful, about 800m from the bus.

During the coronavirus outbreak, the owners told us they were closing and would refund the gift voucher we’d received. Despite contacting them repeatedly, neither we nor our friends have got our money back. There wasn’t even a message or apology. I realize it’s not a large amount, but if others are in the same situation, it could add up to a lot. Now I see they’re open again 😶. At least the business is running, so I hope we eventually get our money.
