The generous breakfast was the one bright spot for me. Wi-Fi was unavailable across most of the guesthouse most of the time, and the two bathrooms shared by five rooms were poorly kept. The electric shower heater kept switching between cold and hot water. Even though there were spaces, getting into the parking lot was difficult on the icy, uncleared driveway in March. When we had to leave the car in the lot below, there wasn’t a safe way to walk up.

Breakfast was included, but the place was far too spartan for the price. The hotel next door cost just 30 PLN more per night and was night and day better. Water smelled of iron, the shower kept changing from cold to hot, the internet was unreliable, and our room lamp didn’t work. The jacuzzi was meant to be there, but it was broken. We couldn’t drive up and had to leave the car in the hotel parking lot below. The icy driveway was so slippery we slid down it on our butts twice, and the owner didn’t care about de-icing it.

The garden and pool are lovely, and the surroundings are beautiful. Staff were very nice too. It’s a typical mountain chalet before renovation, so the accommodation is spartan, but at this very reasonable price I think the value is completely fine.

We were very happy with this mountain hut, and I’d recommend it to everyone. The lady was so helpful: after we got delayed stopping in Prague on the southern link while driving from Pilsen, she called us herself to check that everything was all right and see whether we’d arrive.
