We visited Villa Hubertus restaurant after a long day at the ski resort in Špindlerův Mlýn. The food was good, but the staff’s attitude was a complete disaster. On the first day, service was 0/10, rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. We gave it another try the next day, thinking perhaps the staff had just had a bad day. That visit was even worse. As soon as we walked in, a tall waitress with glasses gave us a rude look and whispered to another waitress. It felt as if they were judging us like we planned to eat for free. She told us outright there was no room, even though the restaurant wasn’t full. A place that should pride itself on hospitality shouldn’t treat people this way. Good food can’t make up for the staff’s shocking attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone hoping for a pleasant meal.

The rest of our food was quite good, but the service was terrible. The waiters weren’t sympathetic, didn’t even greet us when we came in, and seemed to make everything a problem. When we found a piece of hard plastic in one of the children’s meals and told the waiter, she didn’t even apologize. That’s why we’re giving only one star.

The experience wasn’t bad, but we’re not especially keen to return. The food was pretty good, and the staff were average, with no welcome or conversation beyond taking our order. We had to ask twice for another drink. It was a big surprise to find they don’t accept credit cards, especially in the center of such a well-known tourist destination.

We waited a little, but the food made it worthwhile. The grilled pork zebra, svickova, and chicken were all delicious. Amazing meal, and we’ll definitely visit again. Thank you!

We stopped by the restaurant while waiting for the weather to settle. The duck, pancakes, and garlic soup were very delicious. The Jeager tea wasn’t quite as good as I’d hoped, but overall it was a good place to spend the time.
