You can reach lots of lovely places by train from here. The setting in the woods is wonderfully quiet, and the accommodation feels luxurious. The owner was very pleasant too.

There’s a forest right behind the property, and the apartment sits on the upper edge of the Berounka River valley with views over the surrounding countryside. It’s peaceful and fairly secluded, and a good base for walks to KODA reserve, sv.Jan pod skalou, Karlštejn, Malá a Velká Amerika, or along the Berounka valley toward Beroun. The owner is a kind, helpful woman who knows the area well and can offer good advice for hiking. You can also buy homemade eggs there. It’s suitable for a stay with kids, and there’s Wi-Fi, though it’s a little slow and still usable for work. The apartment is spacious, fairly new, and clean. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, a dishwasher, a four-burner stove, an oven, and a large fridge with freezer, so cooking several meals a day, even for health reasons, is no problem.

Even on the hottest summer days, the spacious, fully equipped place stays comfortably cool. It’s great for families with kids or couples. The owner was really helpful and accommodating, and the spot by the forest is super quiet. Thanks 😉
