The two good points for us were the friendly woman at check-in, who spoke English, and the shower's decent water pressure and temperature. Beyond that, we were shocked by the condition of the place, especially at roughly €100 a night. Even a bit of maintenance and a more thorough clean would make a real difference. I hope the feedback is taken seriously so future guests get what they paid for. The location and exterior seemed promising, but inside was a different story. The photos showed only the “good” parts from when things were still fresh. The main hallway and our room both had a strong acidic smell, probably from a cleaning product. Everything looked worn and neglected, as if it hadn't been maintained in decades. There were stains on the walls, carpet, and window blinds, with huge clumps of dust on the blinds. We kept our slippers on the whole time. The wooden window frames had almost no paint left, and the sill was in rough shape too. The shower was very basic and much of it was broken. Several floor tiles were cracked, the door was damaged, the towel rack was nearly coming off the wall, and the shower head needed replacing because it sprayed everywhere. There was black fungus in the sealant. About a year later, the owner replied to my one-star review by threatening legal action unless I removed it immediately. Despicable. Instead of offering compensation for our awful stay, he chose to threaten customers. It's unbelievable. DO NOT BOOK THIS HORRORHOUSE.
