The apartment was the best room option, and the hotel itself is really nice. There isn't A/C, but there's a fan setting that I couldn't quite get working fully; it still cooled the room some. The higher elevation and cooler nights helped too, and it had been raining for days. Compared with the other hotel casino nearby, these rooms are better. The staff seemed tired and low on energy. Breakfast was meant to run from 7-11, I think, but when I came down at 9 there was no food and nobody around. They made it up to me afterward, though, so maybe it was just a communication mix-up.

Getting around on foot is easy, since it's well placed for hikes, though the hotel is about 500 meters beyond the village center. They welcomed us warmly and spoke English and German well. Breakfast was decent and served in the casino room, which made for an unusual setting. It wasn't a buffet. Oddly, they only take cash. The hotel itself was comfortable.

There aren't enough tables when the casino gets packed. Otherwise, it's a good casino.
