The heated pool and garden barbecue area were great, and the owners were really helpful and accommodating. We came with our family for our third season, and it feels like we’ll be back again. The apartment is huge but still cozy, and our little kids felt at home straight away. It’s very well equipped, from the kitchen to the bathroom. I can recommend staying here without hesitation.

There’s a shop and pub in the village, though we didn’t find either open. For skiing, you have to drive about 20 km. The house is a family home, with the owners living downstairs and the upstairs rented out. At 300 Kč per night, you’re paying for accommodation only, and if you break something like a plate or glass, you have to pay for it. Electricity is charged separately too. Parking is right in front of the house, but it’s unguarded and already tight for three cars. You can’t get keys to the first floor, so there’s no way to lock up your belongings. We lost our camera and charger here.

We’ve never been short of anything in the kitchen, and there are supplies here that we usually have to bring ourselves on holiday, like toilet paper, a jar, tea towels, and even towels. The owners are pleasant. The only bit that gets annoying is having to carry the house keys with us every time, even when we head to the pool.

It’s a quiet spot, and Vimperk is about a 10-minute drive away. The apartment is huge and furnished like home. We only missed a changing table for the baby; otherwise, there’s nothing to complain about. We’d recommend it.

A nice hostess and a very pleasant place to stay. The bathroom, toilet, kitchen, and common room are shared between the three rooms, which makes it ideal for a larger group.
