The rooms at Grand Tabor are perfectly fine, and there’s parking available. It’s also an easy walk to downtown Tabor, a romantic, interesting little town that feels more like a village. Ilona makes the stay, though. She’s a naturally friendly host, and the breakfast she prepares is wonderful, served in a cosy room that also works as reception. Please visit Grand Tabor and enjoy it. I’m enjoying writing this.

The DELUXE Secese room was genuinely much bigger than the classic Superior room our friends had, including a more spacious bathroom. It was well worth paying extra. We had a very nice weekend: the bed was VERY comfy, the bathroom tidy, and breakfast had everything, even cereal bars for later, plus gluten-free pastry for me. I have nothing against the stay and can only recommend it.

We were only here for one night on a bike tour, so I can only comment on how close it is to the bike route. The receptionist was super nice and helpful, check-in and check-out were easy, and the rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast was great, with all the usual European options.

The hotel is ideally located in central Tabor, and our room was clean and pleasant. It was over 30°C outside, but even without air conditioning the room stayed surprisingly cool. We didn't use the small kitchen with microwave. Breakfast was complete, with fresh fruit. We're on a biking holiday, and they had a special safe indoor spot for our bikes, with staff helping us carry them up the stairs. We arrived before noon, which wasn't a problem here, unlike at some other hotels. Reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English, so communication was easy. We had an excellent stay!

For a one-star hotel, this is above average, and everything was very clean. The staff were warm, accommodating, and easy to communicate with in English. Breakfast was prepared with care and had something for everyone, so I’d absolutely recommend it. The downside is that no one is available after 9 pm, which isn't great if traffic jams delay your arrival.
