The building used to be a Jewish prayer house, and the room was pleasantly furnished with its own bathroom. Breakfast is included. It’s on the ground floor, close to the historic center. Parking is available fairly nearby for 40 CZK a day or 10 CZK an hour on weekdays.

We were trusted to check ourselves in: no one was at reception, but after we rang, they let us in and explained where to find the room key. Staff came in for breakfast the next morning. They understand Russian, though they don’t speak it very well. The hotel is small, right in the city center in a historic building, with friendly staff and a simple, tasteful feel. Breakfast was varied and delicious. I’d recommend it.

Our bicycles were kept at reception at first and then moved to the hallway, so a better place to store them would be welcome. Everything else was organized well. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was peaceful, close to the city walls and a short walk from the market square. The housekeeper was especially friendly and made an excellent breakfast. Reception felt a little impersonal because it was handled by intercom.
