Hotel Panorama

We ended up sleeping in our car after the hotel refused a refund and offered us a smaller room with fewer beds. Our room had bed bugs crawling around, and although we reported it, the hotel’s response was a huge letdown. It threw off our plans and caused a lot of stress. The lack of care for guests was seriously disappointing, and I can’t believe this happened. Think carefully before booking at Panorama Hotel. Check reviews about cleanliness and pest control first. Until I see real improvements and an honest effort to make things right, I won’t recommend this place. I hope your trip goes much more smoothly than ours.

The hotel has lovely views of nature, and we slept very well. We had to book at the last minute, but they accepted the reservation without any trouble. On arrival, we got our rooms quickly, and the staff were kind throughout. The rooms were clean and had what we needed.

It’s a basic hotel, originally built as a holiday home for coal mine workers. There’s no air conditioning in summer, though every room has its own balcony. The setting is quiet, with a beautiful view over the city, and trolleybuses are nearby if you’re not arriving by car. It does the job, as long as you’re not expecting luxury.

The room was clean and orderly, and the price was very reasonable. It’s a good place to rest. Just be aware that the hotel locks the front entrance from late evening until around 6am. If you need to leave before 6, someone at the front desk will have to unlock it.
