Penzion Padrtův mlýn

The owner is really nice, and it's great that dogs are welcome. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. Everything else was great, though the kitchen could use better equipment: cutting boards, sharper knives, a baking dish, and a larger oven casserole.

Mrs. Dokulilová was a wonderful host and had everything ready for us. The place was clean and cozy, and we had everything we needed. We had a very pleasant stay.

I grew up in Třebíč, but had never heard of Sokolí before we stayed at the Padrtův mlýn guesthouse. It's a magical spot in the countryside, away from Třebíč's busy streets, with trees, cycle paths, and cottage areas all around. I really value being so far from civilization, and it's lovely for walks and cycling. We slept well without anyone waking us. The accommodation was perfectly sufficient, the Wifi worked without issues, and I appreciated the nets in the windows. Everything worked as it should. Staff quickly sorted out a small shower problem. I can highly recommend it.

The rooms are lovely, with clean bathrooms and toilets, and the mosquito nets on every window are a nice touch. The lady was very pleasant and happy to suggest places to visit. It's especially suited to a large group using all the apartments, and sharing the kitchen wasn't a problem for us. The natural setting is beautiful and well placed for walks and bike rides. Třebíč is an ideal drive away, and there's a quarry about 3.6km away where you can swim on a hot day. It was a great holiday for me, highly recommended.
