The garden has a seating area, a fireplace, a trampoline and a slide, while the cellar has ping-pong and darts. We took the whole cottage with friends and children. It’s nicely designed and furnished well enough. I’m taking off a star because the smaller apartment’s kitchen was poorly equipped: few sharp knives, just two pots for six people, a lid that didn’t fit, an old ridged pan, and only just enough cutlery, so there wasn’t even a spare spoon or a ladle. The hot tub also couldn’t be used in the summer months.

The large apartment was great, but the log cabin was so dirty the wood wouldn’t fit in it. There was no wood or paper provided, and after several rainy days, the owner’s suggestion that we go into the forest to find some felt pretty sad. If a place advertises a fireplace and fire, I think it should supply the wood.

The owners were very pleasant, and the location works well for cycling trips to Lysá, Ondřejník, Smrcek, Pustevny and Velký Javornik.

It’s a nice place to stay, very close to Pusteven in the Beskydy Mountains. There’s a sauna too, which I’d recommend after a day trip.
