This isn’t a hotel. Hostel is a better description. There’s one bathroom on each floor for everyone. The manager and owner were very unkind and unpleasant. I felt there was a high level of national discrimination from them, almost racism. Maybe they’re fascists, I don’t know, but they’re certainly criminals. They tried to charge us for Wi-Fi, the kitchen and laundry, and changed the hotel policies every day. One day all those costs were 50 krones, another time 100 per month, and on the third day they asked for three months in advance. It felt like fraud and money laundering, and they gave no receipt for anything we paid. The housekeeper is a great man and the maintenance staff are kind. It might be okay for one night, but no longer. If you can, avoid this horror. The building is old, and inside it feels like a WW2 prison.

The restaurant is good, the beer tastes great, and the staff are friendly. It’s about 2 km from the biggest Czech Tarzania and 3 km from the cable chair that goes to the top of the mountain.

This place is a dump. It’s a poor excuse for a hotel, with bad heating and water problems in some rooms. There were rats in the restaurant too. One ran right past me into the kitchen.
