There’s a little shop and a playground in this lovely village, and plenty to see, including a tunnel running beneath it that visitors can go into. It’s also a great place to set off for hikes and walks.

We ended up here after switching plans at the last minute and leaving a hotel that, as we later discovered, had a rather bad reputation. That turned out well. This small guesthouse is cozy and well kept, though every now and then you can hear the toilets flushing 😀. For dinner, Budějovice is only a few minutes away by car, or you can order delivery. The owner is incredibly nice and cooks breakfast right in front of you. I’d never had scrambled eggs so fluffy! We were sorry to be only passing through. I’d definitely recommend it.

We were really pleased with our stay. The surroundings are beautiful, and the rooms are comfortably furnished. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kind, helpful owner’s amazing breakfast was the highlight.
