Interhotel Bohemia

The hotel could use renovation, in our opinion, as its general condition was poor. Still, everything was clean and tidy, and the price-matched rooms were moderately equipped but sufficient. Breakfast was a sufficient buffet included in the price. The shower screen was broken and the drain clogged. The hotel is very centrally located and has its own covered parking, accessed from the next street around the corner. Don't leave your car in front of the hotel, as that parking belongs to another company.

The people were nice, and the food was good. This is an amazing hotel, very close to the German border. I'd recommend it if you're ever in the area.

After I got my key for Room 505, I searched all over before unpacking. Good thing I did: I found bedbug eggs and dead bugs. I left straight away and went to another hotel. Before arriving, I'd read the ratings, and the bedbug reports had worried me a lot. The receptionist at the other hotel told me everyone knows about the bedbug problem at Interhotel Bohemia. I'd advise weighing that risk before booking.

When we got back late in the afternoon from our planned visit to the Pravčická Gate, we found our room door open and my wife's ring missing. We'd left in the morning, on the second day of our stay. The trip had been booked through the IPO travel agency, and our group was about 40 people besides my spouse and me. A friend had his shoes stolen, and someone else found their clothes rummaged through. We reported it to reception, but the hotel's and staff's involvement was disgraceful. I was robbed at this hotel, and I strongly advise others to avoid it.
