The pool was quite nice, but it shut at 6 pm. The sauna wasn't working, and the relaxation room was around 10 degrees. We paid 3500,- and left angry. At check-in, the elderly woman at reception couldn't find the reservation we'd made with her by email. She said a room was available but that there wouldn't be bathrobes because they'd already been taken apart, though she eventually found some elsewhere. The room looked nice at first, but the TV was tiny, the bed creaked so much that turning over woke you up, and there were no towel hooks in the bathroom. Our voucher included a welcome drink, which we never received. Dinner meant choosing from three awful, cheap dishes. The breakfast buffet had dried fruit, and the orange juice was watered down. If you want lunch, don't count on it: the restaurant doesn't cook other food. They offered fried wings, then told us after 20 minutes that they weren't available. Is this really a 3-star hotel? Highly recommend it!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place looks new and modern, though little signs of unfinished work get annoying. There are no towel hooks or soap dish in the bathroom, for example, and the hall closet is pretty modest. The pool is the main draw, open until 8:00 PM, while the infrared sauna was out of order during our stay. Despite the name Imperial, this feels more like an apartment building. The kitchen was closed because of illness while we were there. The dinners we'd ordered tasted good, but seemed to have been prepared off-site ahead of time. With the services on offer, the accommodation could cost less.

The entertainment was quite good, but the food really spoiled what was otherwise a good impression of the accommodation. For New Year's Eve they charged 1000 per person, while people at the next table paid 1500, which felt far too high. We didn't even get the appetizer. Dinner was disgusting, chicken with dumplings and cabbage, and plenty of people left it unfinished, so it wasn't just me. The evening buffet schnitzels were straight from the fridge, ice cold and inedible. Breakfast was a shock too, with leftover plates from the night before and rotten vegetables. They could at least have rearranged things a little to make it look fresh. Otherwise, the choice was three dishes from that shop, salad, pizza, and chicken. For a place called Resort Imperial, I expect a different sort of kitchen. The staff seemed as chaotic as possible, though maybe it was just New Year's Eve.

There was just one person working in the whole hotel, doing reception, cleaning, waiting tables, and cooking. When we came back from a trip, the entire building was locked. And I could keep listing problems. Don't go, you'll only be disappointed. Breakfast was unbelievably sparse for 125kc per person: a couple of rolls, 5 slices of bread, one plate of ham, one of cheese, a small bowl of yoghurt, and a jug of milk for five people. We were charged extra for the coffee we'd ordered, too. The small pool also wasn't included as we'd assumed, and cost 500kc for two days for one adult. The room wasn't bad, but there was no fridge and the TV barely worked. I definitely wouldn't recommend this, the worst place I've ever visited.

The hotel has decent potential, with a new building, cleanliness, and a great pool. But terrible food and unfinished rooms overshadow it. After skiing in the mountains, there's nowhere to dry wet things, which is pretty stupid. It felt like the owner or their representative had let things slide, saving money in the most visible, inappropriate places. Such a shame. The staff were genuinely helpful and pleasant, both the woman at reception and the guy with bangs at the bar. But either there's no boss or they're incompetent. I've rarely noticed so much how badly the place needs someone operational to check, supervise, and keep things moving in the right direction for customers. Breakfast was hell. The ground and instant coffee came just in cups, which was odd, but fine. There were vegetables, cold cuts, and sausages on plates, but nothing to serve them with. You could use your hands, but who wants to? We came down at 8:30 and I took the last plate. Nobody replenished it. The cups were dirty, one clean-looking one still had Logr leftovers, and the glasses were battered. The pastries were tasty and fresh, and they did bring more when asked. Such a small amount of attention would have made a completely different impression. The chef is another problem. I'm guessing he isn't trained, since the scrambled eggs were dried out and tasteless. You don't expect much from eggs, but even a pinch of salt would've helped. The risotto was awful too. The beer and coffee were good, at least. And someone should clean those flies out of the lights. It's March, so saying they got in a few days ago probably won't cut it.
