We didn't get to try the bowling or tennis courts, so we'll have to come back. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious ballrooms and a lovely wellness area. I do wish the saunas opened at 09:00, the same time as the rest of the wellness area.

Getting here is easy, and although the location isn't perfect, it's completely fine. The hotel is affordable and always a good place to return to. It's a huge, family-friendly wellness hotel built around a medieval castle, with extensive additions and lots of rooms. The food is very good, though the selection isn't especially broad, and the services are excellent.

The restaurant was the weak point for us. Our steak cost a lot, was a small portion, and tasted pretty average. The beer, water, and lemonade also seemed really expensive for what they were. The rooms were cozy, clean, and really nice, and the surroundings are beautiful. Wellness was amazing too, with plenty of saunas, pools, steam cabins, an ice room, and more.

This is my third visit, and I’m sure it won’t be my last. The relaxing room would feel more relaxing without the hunting trophies, and it’d help to have more massage availability so guests could choose from enough time slots. Still, it’s definitely the best wellness in Czech. You can see the true ownership wherever you look.

The kitchen is great, with traditional Czech dishes to try, and the breakfast buffet is nice too. It’s especially off the beaten track for overseas visitors, but if you’re driving, it might be worth stopping by. There are quite a few wellness facilities, which make it a good choice for a really relaxing break, and you can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the old castle.
