The climb back up from town takes more effort and isn’t much fun, though it should be manageable for most people. Walking down to the centre takes about 10-15 minutes, with lovely views along the way. The house sits on a hill on the outskirts of Český Krumlov, so that walk is part of the deal. We found the apartment quiet at night, even with guests in the room next door. It’s more like a larger hotel room, with a simple shared kitchen out in the hallway. The decor is tasteful and there’s everything you’d need for a weekend. I didn’t spend much time there. There are free parking spaces in front, though they’re a little tight. Late self check-in is possible, with the keys in a lockbox, which helped since we arrived late. It’s a family-style house with small, modern apartments. For a visit to one of Czechia’s storybook cities, this villa is a nice, affordable alternative to the overpriced hotels and AirBnBs in the centre, where parking can often be complicated or expensive, as long as you’re fine with the extra walking.

The room was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful, especially since Czech is barely a second language for us. We got a voucher as a gift, and it worked perfectly with our weekend plans. You can walk into town, and the route has some wonderful views. It made for an excellent weekend, made even more special by us getting engaged 😊. Definitely worth a visit.

Good value for a nice place, but the railroad makes it pretty noisy. It’s 1.5 km from the center, with a 200 m difference in elevation.

The rooms were nice, decent, and clean, and the price was amazing for CK. The uphill walk from the city center is the downside. It’s meant to take 15 minutes, but it took me almost 30, and after 9 pm it was so dark and scary. Without a car, I wouldn’t recommend it for sightseeing. You’ll be too tired from the hill to get back to the hotel.

It’s in a quiet spot, with a grocery store nearby. The room has modern furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, a large comfortable bed, and its own fridge and freezer. The bathroom is spacious too.
