The staff made us feel welcome, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to help. I was especially grateful for the wine pairing recommendation for dinner. The dessert wine the waiter chose has become my favorite! Our room was cozy, with a lovely forest view from the second-floor balcony. The Czech food was great, and I hadn’t expected Croatian dishes too. On Friday, the hotel had a "Balkaneros" Croatian food buffet, and I’ll be back for it. The prosciutto was something special.

We needed to leave our broken car at a nearby garage, and luckily the hotel had a room available, though it wasn’t ready until after 2 p.m. They let us store our luggage and wait on the terrace. The staff were so friendly, the food was amazing, and the room was cute, with an old castle style. It may feel dated to some, but everything worked. Thanks for the hospitality, guys. We’ll be back ❤️

This was my second visit to Schlosshotel, and the staff were just as kind as before. The food used to be great, and it’s even better now, with Czech and Croatian cuisines and grill-based options. Balkaneros at Schlosshotel went beyond what I expected. There were plenty of healthier choices too, including tasty grilled vegetables and wild white fish. My partner was tempted by the freshly made pancakes, which looked delicious!

We had six lovely days here. Forests surround the hotel, with lots of hiking trails nearby, and the location is great. I’d suggest renting a bike or going for a walk. Prague is also an option for a day trip. The staff are really friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I’d recommend the massages and spa. See you next year!

We were moved to a different room without being told or asked, then charged for the room we’d originally booked. The bed was clean, but the bathroom smelled quite bad and had mold, apparently because there wasn’t enough ventilation. We had to ask for towels, though they brought them soon after.
