The house sits in the grounds of an old mill, and the hosts live in another of the lovely buildings there. Outside, there’s a big garden with places to sit and a barbecue. The setting by the stream, down in a valley and surrounded by woods, is so peaceful. It felt like a proper break from civilization, the way things used to be :)

The owner was lovely, and this cozy homestead was exactly the city escape we wanted. We could take in nature, forget our worries, and honestly didn’t want to go home. A fantastic vacation that completely lived up to expectations.
