Turistická ubytovna Vláček

The rooms were cramped, and the beds were extremely hard in some cases; another had a worn mattress and dust along the edge. We couldn't rest after a day out because people staying there, including Ukrainians, were noisy, shouting under the windows, and the cigarette smell didn't help. Trains kept passing right by the hostel, and the clicking track switch made it hard to sleep. The toilets and bathrooms were often occupied in the mornings and evenings, and both bathrooms had dust and cobwebs. Across the way, people at a hotel hut shouted late into the night. Ten minutes after we arrived, police were banging on the window and looking for someone inside, which didn't make the place feel safe. We waited 20 minutes before anyone noticed us, then had to ask whether the woman walking around was the owner or another guest. This seems less like a tourist hostel and more like a place for Ukrainians staying long term, as well as another person who has lived there for 7 years. I really don't recommend it to anyone. A horrible experience, never again. Avoid it at all costs.

We needed somewhere to stay at almost a moment's notice, and the lady was incredibly willing and quick to help. She nearly saved our lives. The hostel is beautiful and clean, with a perfect spot near the train station. I recommend it, and thank you again!

I've stayed here twice, once in summer and once in winter, and was satisfied both times. It's pleasant accommodation in a clean setting. Even though it's right by the train station, the trains don't bother you. I recommend it. :)
