We had a comfortable, clean room for three, with a balcony and our own bathroom. The house has a retro feel, and guests can use a fully equipped shared kitchen, a common room and a garden terrace with seating. The hosts were helpful and pleasant. Parkhotel Vrbno is a great restaurant nearby, and I’d recommend the lovely route to Medvědí vrch in the area.

The shower sometimes drained water by itself, which was odd. We were also woken by children shouting in the common room beside our bedroom. When we arrived, the promised in-room kitchenette and fridge weren’t there; both the kitchen and fridge were shared by the whole guesthouse, and their condition and equipment left a lot to be desired. The stay didn’t match the booking description at all. I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

We were very happy with our stay. The owners were especially helpful, and there was plenty of space, a lovely view over the garden and somewhere to sit outdoors. Some parts feel a little retro, but the place is well equipped, particularly the kitchen. I recommend it.

There’s little peace in the house since it has several rooms. The heating barely works, and the equipment is very dated and minimal. The room wasn’t tidy either. We expected a private kitchen, but it turned out to be a shared one in rather questionable condition. A big disappointment, and I can’t recommend it.

There were four adults in our group, and we were really pleased with the stay. The accommodation was inexpensive and adequately equipped, and the place felt pleasant and clean. The owners were great. Thanks for having us 🙂
