The shared kitchen has a fridge and cooker, and the place is clean and basic in a good way. It's very close to the historic centre and fine for a night or two. The beds were the main downside for me: they're very hard, and the old Czech-style mattresses left my heavier boyfriend complaining of a bad back every morning and saying he couldn't sleep. I was mostly okay. We were there in October and the temperature indoors was fine, though I can imagine it getting hot in summer since it's on the top floor with a roof window above. There's a nice, inexpensive bakery nearby, Karlova pekarna, for breakfast. See the pictures!

We liked the room, how clean it was, and the amount of space. But if peace and quiet matter to you, I wouldn't recommend staying here. We didn't feel completely safe. People in the area play loud music behind the gate and shout, so we had to board up the windows. People on the street in front kept watching and yelling at us, and it felt better to get inside and stay there. That part was unpleasant. Otherwise, the place would have been absolutely great without this problem. I hope things improve in Znojmo and that the problems caused by these people get resolved. 🍀☺

Our room's window couldn't be opened, so there was no way to air it out. That was a letdown for an overnight stay.
