It was okay.

The owner didn’t speak Czech, but that wasn’t the problem. The bathroom was filthy: disgusting mold in the shower, an unwashed sink, and dirty towels that had clearly been washed. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the old equipment was rusty and covered in various stickers. The garden was a horrible mess. The only reason for the one star is the location, about an eight-minute walk from Louka monastery and the cycling paths.

We were going to an event at Louka Monastery, so the location nearby is what made us choose this guesthouse. Otherwise, we probably would’ve passed it by. It’s better not to talk about the cleanliness. There was very little comfort, and no breakfast.

It’s simple, modest accommodation, with the lovely bonus of being able to swim in the pool in an enchanting garden.
