Penzion U Dvojice

There’s a little restaurant and pub on site, and although the guesthouse itself is small, the rooms are fairly spacious.

Breakfast had the usual basics, plus things like scrambled eggs, pancakes, cheese, salami, yogurt, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The rooms also have a fridge and microwave. It’s a family-run place in a lovely, peaceful spot, and you can tell the owner looks after it carefully. Everything was clean. There are two outdoor pools, a hot tub, billiards, darts, and a restaurant with outdoor seating. The food was excellent, and the waitress was especially kind and hardworking.

Room 7 was on the small side, but clean, tidy, and furnished with what I needed. The guesthouse has a relaxed, homely feel, away from the public, and the kitchen is good. Guests can use the big garden and its two pools. If you’re looking for a quiet holiday, this is a good fit. I recommend it.

The garden and courtyard are really nice, and the staff were very helpful. The accommodation itself was disappointing, though. There was mold in the hallway and in the bedroom under the boiler, and the kitchen wasn’t well equipped. A marten in the roof made quite a racket in the morning. The hot water boiler dripped right beside the bed, and several rooms had to share one small fridge in the hallway.
