Loved it. The area is beautiful, right by the river and good for swimming. The food was delicious, especially the goat cheese with honey salad.

It's a shame, because the restaurant has a great spot and a beautiful view of the dam. Still, the owner seems to be running it into bankruptcy. It opens later each year, this year not until 29.6., and the service keeps getting worse. Last year the only food available was steak cooked on an electric grill for an incredible 169 CZK, plus baguettes. The service is unbelievably lazy, and you have to go to the bar to order. Maybe that's better, since at least you get what you actually asked for; otherwise, you might have expected the opposite. If you're going to Županovice, I'd recommend the snack bar U Hrocha instead. The food there is fried dishes plus a few cold options, but the service and prices are pleasant.

It's closed, which is no surprise. Last year there were three dishes to choose from: fruit dumplings, sausages with onions, or shop salad. Most people bought a pie and went next door for pizza.

The place has a wonderful view of the Vltava River. Vltavanka has a long history here, along with owners who change like socks. The current owners offer a typical Czech standard that won't offend or surprise. Locals especially appreciate the draught goat and the selection of spirits!

I wouldn't recommend eating here. A slice of chicken with a spoonful of mustard and ketchup, plus a very amusing garnish (shame I didn't take a photo), costs 169,-. That's way too much for Županovice. For that price I can get a burger with fries in central Prague :D
