The view was nice, but I wasn't impressed. The rooms were clean, yet the place is quite old, and the floors squeaked loudly enough to hear everyone walking around. For more than 100 euros for one night, on the top floor with no elevator, I expected more. They even charge for everything, including a complimentary drink. Staff weren't there on time despite our message through Booking.com that our flight would land late, so we waited outside in the cold. They speak little to no English, which made communication difficult. It seems they take advantage of there being no other accommodation nearby in Kornelimunster and overcharge.

The hotel felt outdated, and it cost a lot for what it was. We even had to pay 9 euros each for what they called a 'drink of the house'.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly, and the service was really good.

The Wi-Fi kept cutting out every couple of minutes, when it worked at all. That added to an already awful stay, and I’d never choose to spend more than one night here again. Worst experience I’ve had. Getting in was a hassle too: I had to call for the access code, then found an envelope with my name, basic information, and the key. The hotel looks great online, so arriving was a big letdown. I’m almost 1.95 meters tall, and the first room was a single. It was extremely cramped, the bathroom was tiny, and the 90x200cm bed had ridiculously soft mattresses. Definitely not suitable for taller people. At least there was a desk. I’m now in a budget double room by myself, with a 140cm x 200cm bed. The room and bathroom are a little bigger, but there’s mold between the tiles, and no desk.
