Guest Appartements

The host helped me in lots of ways when I was new to the country, and I had a wonderful stay. I recommend this as the best place I've ever stayed in Aalen.

There’s no living room here, just a bathroom, kitchen, and two bedrooms. The kitchen radiator ran loudly all day and night, and its thermostat seemed broken. The listing said the fridge would have drinks and the internet would run at about 50 Mbps, but the fridge was empty and using my laptop online was painfully slow. Maybe the landlord can fix the heating.

I strongly recommend avoiding this place. The hotel itself is nice, but the service is awful, and there’s a meter of slime. It also smells like a garbage dump. While I was away, the owner went into the property and took pictures of the “mess,” then showed old photos at checkout to put the place down. It had been cleaned by the time I checked out. The quoted rule says German law protects tenants’ privacy: landlords need consent to enter, apart from exceptional circumstances, and entry without consent may be a crime under Section 123 of the German Criminal Code.

The kettle was filthy, and the apartment felt cramped with worn-out furniture. I wouldn’t recommend it.
