Very Good Featured review

8/10
The location is a little far from the city centre, and there aren't many other places to eat nearby. Still, it's a nice, quaint place to stay in Aalen, with spacious rooms and all the necessary amenities. There's a pleasant biergarten, and a bus stop close by with connections to Aalen ZOB and other nearby places.

The food is great and the service is good. My room was very big and clean, and had a good bed.

Nice place.

4/10
The kitchen gave the impression it could only manage meat. Very little seemed homemade, and the vegetables were overcooked frozen products. The semolina pudding was poor and being sold as semolina flan. If the cook has to rely on frozen vegetables and mislabels a bad pudding, they should question calling themselves a chef. Anyone who can follow a recipe shouldn't eat there. Very disappointing, and the place feels outdated.
