The staff were really friendly, and the hotel’s central spot made it easy to walk to the historic centre. There’s also free parking nearby. I was there at the end of December. My single room was neat and clean, with a roomy, renovated bathroom, but even with the heat turned all the way up it never felt comfortable. My parents’ double room was colder still. Breakfast was good and had everything, though nothing special, and the dining room was chilly too.

I was nervous after seeing some negative reviews, but my stay was fine and good value for the money. The rooms are small, though clean and comfortable, and the main tourist area is close by. There’s no air conditioning, but that seems uncommon in small towns like this. The staff left the keys at reception, which suited me fine since I don’t mind not seeing anyone. I’d already eaten, so I didn’t try the restaurant, but it looked nice and served Chinese food.

The owner has added thoughtful extras to make the stay more comfortable, like an umbrella in the room, extra toiletries, and water. You can tell she really cares. Hotel Höhn was super clean and decorated so nicely, and my husband and I really enjoyed being there. The breakfast was excellent too. A great choice for a stay on the Rhine.

The location is right in the city centre, with everything easy to reach on foot. My room had fast WiFi, and the place was always clean. Even with the language barrier, it was a great experience and good value for what I paid. The staff were quick to respond and keen to help. I’d definitely come back.

The information on booking.com is out of date. Since our last visit to Rudesheim, the hotel has changed hands, and there was no breakfast, coffee, or anything else. I had to call booking.com and complain before the hotel fixed the problems. I think we may have been the only guests there.
