The staff were great. The woman who checked us in was especially kind and helpful, and breakfast by reception was quite good and included with the room. It was a typical German spread of bread, rolls, sliced meats and cheeses, juice, and more, and one of the better breakfasts we had in Aalen. The restaurant next door is also a must for dinner, even if you stay somewhere else. We're vegetarian and don't always find good options, but although there were only three vegetarian entrees, the two we tried were among the best we've had. I suspect the meat dishes are just as good. The room was cozy and pleasant, but small. There wasn't a chair, so you had to sit on the bed or at the desk, though the cushioned luggage holder might work too. We could sit, relax, and talk, but there was barely enough space. The desk had built-in USB ports and an extra outlet for charging a computer. We'd highly recommend the hotel and restaurant.

We were very pleased with the meal, especially the pork medallions. The food was excellent and the portions were big. We stayed overnight too, and the room or apartment was comfortable and nice. The woman at reception was extremely friendly, and everyone showed us a lot of kindness and attention. Breakfast was great as well. Very pleased with our stay!

We loved our stay. We booked at 17:00 and got there around 21:00, and the room was perfect. They had a crib and an extra bed for our two kids at no extra charge, which was such nice service from lovely staff. Breakfast was great too, with fresh fruit salad, eggs, different kinds of bread, coffee, and more. We'll definitely come back.

A good restaurant with friendly, pleasant staff. There are plenty of dinner options, including duck, rostbraten, and steak, and the food is well prepared and seasoned. The chocolate mousse was by far the best dessert. I really loved it!

I stayed at the hotel and had breakfast there most days. I loved it. The staff are very nice, and the room was clean and modern. It has a modern feel with a friendlier concept.
