At €50 per person, the overnight stay was okay, and Mike was nice and easygoing. The mattresses were very hard, but we didn't have any back problems. There was a mini-fridge in our barrel for a few things, and plenty of fridges in the shared open kitchen where you can keep your own food. Drinks are available from the fridge for an extra charge, including beer, wine, and soft drinks. Breakfast was worth no more than one star to me. It was as cheap as it gets: freshly baked baguette rolls, two kinds of cold cuts, a little cheese, butter, and honey. The coffee was like weak bean soup. Add €5 per person to the overnight price, and they could include some tomato, sliced peppers, and a couple of boiled eggs. Parking gets tight when all the barrels are booked, since there aren't enough spaces. The restrooms were clean, though they could use a few improvements, like toilet blocks in the urinals to help with the bad smells. There were no paper towels, and the soap had already been watered down. Some parts of the area also need tidying, and dirty corners could be made more presentable or covered better. The barrels are beside a main road. The traffic noise isn't terrible, but it could be quieter. Still, you can do it for €50 per person.
