The room was clean and comfortable, and the view was lovely. Breakfast was modest but there were choices. I’d been worried after reading the reviews, and some things are dated, as people said, but that didn’t affect the room’s cleanliness or comfort. It is a hotel in a smaller town, after all. Parking was the main drawback: the large lot below meant a steep walk uphill, while the few spaces by the front door were very tight. If you have a larger car, don’t drive up to the top.

The laundry service was awful. Two white items came back completely ruined, and if there was an extra fee, surely they should have told us before washing them. The rooms were clean, though dated, which wasn’t a problem for me. What was a problem was the owners making noise into the early hours and their child running around at all times. That didn’t feel professional. Breakfast is advertised as free, but they charge for it and never mentioned that when we checked in. If zero stars were possible, I’d leave that.

They said there were no rooms left, even though we’d booked a few days earlier. It seems they knew they were overbooked, but nobody let us know in advance. The staff were rude, didn’t apologize, and made no effort to help. We never even got to see a room. Worst experience of my life. This hotel deserves no stars. Stay away at all costs!!!

The room was clean and nice, with a lovely view from our balcony, but the noise went on at all hours of the morning and nobody seemed to care. And don’t get me started on the laundry: they mixed up the whites, returned them discoloured, then charged me for it. I definitely won’t be back 🙄

Our room was really nice, and everyone was very friendly. My one suggestion would be to provide a fan. The balcony is shared, so leaving the door open may not be an option.
