We only came for dinner, not to stay, and loved it. The beer was great too, but the schnitzel was the best I've ever had, really tender, with pepper, paprika, and two mushroom sauces.

I can't recommend Hardtmühle after our stay a few nights ago with my little daughter. A big party was happening right below our room, and neither of us could sleep until after 2 am. The hotel may need to host large groups and weddings, but it doesn't make sense to rent rooms to other guests if they can't get any sleep. I mentioned the party to the receptionist at checkout and got an arrogant, hostile response. A discount would have made sense, or even just an apology for the noise, which I could have accepted. There was nothing. We also found no coffee at breakfast, with staff saying, "oh, we forgot it," and the pillows and sheets were heavily perfumed. There was no shampoo in the bathroom either.

Good value for the price, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and easy parking. The restaurant served good food and beer, and breakfast was good too. The staff were nice, and it's close to the Autobahn.

Good value, very clean, and the parking right out front felt safe. Breakfast was good, and both the people and the dog were friendly. I'd stay again.
