We stayed at Hotel 37 while connecting through Munich with my family. The apartments were amazing, and they’d work well for solo travelers too. Our double room had bunk beds, with a shared kitchen and toilets that were very clean. The common area and kitchen were pleasant, with the essentials supplied, and there are some great restaurants nearby where you can dine comfortably. For the price, it was a great room. Just be aware that Munich airport is an hour away when planning your stay.

The staff were very kind, but that one good point isn’t enough to make me book again. The rooms have poor sound insulation: we could clearly hear people talking in the neighborhood and furniture being moved, even with every window closed. Many guests seemed to be craftsmen from across Europe, and they smoked and drank. I wouldn’t consider it a good place for a non-smoking family with children.
