The café in the barn is beautifully decorated, and the food is delicious. I always feel safe and welcome among the historic half-timbered buildings, with their magical charm. There’s so much to enjoy here, from the cinema and craft markets to the other events. I haven’t unfortunately managed to stay overnight, but this place is clearly made with a lot of love. ^^

We had a very large room, furnished beautifully, and the bathroom was lovely too. The old thatched-roof manor house makes for exquisite accommodation, and breakfast was generous and good, served in a lovely setting. It’s a shame the café is only open on Saturdays and Sundays, when we weren’t there. The owner plans to close the hotel this autumn for personal reasons and turn it into a retirement home.

Those listed buildings have such tastefully decorated rooms, and the atmosphere is really inviting. We loved the amazing cake and friendly service too. If you’re in the Cuxland region, it’s well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back for Easter! ☝️👍

The garden is great, and we were very satisfied with our stay. Our room was spacious and worked perfectly for a wheelchair. When we needed to leave early for an excursion, they prepared breakfast especially for us ahead of time. That’s the kind of service you hope for!

There’s so much to look at here, with all the decorations and a fantastic boutique. The selection is huge, and I usually end up buying something. I always enjoy coming back. Today I treated myself to a lovely piece of cake and a cappuccino, and it was very cozy. I had a tart with meringue.
