We only stayed one night, but the welcome was the warmest we’ve ever received. The owners were so friendly, the rooms beautifully furnished, and the guesthouse has everything you could want. Breakfast was top-notch. It deserves more than five stars.

After a long motorcycle ride in the heat, we were able to cool off in the pool, which they kindly opened for us that evening. The hosts were very nice, breakfast was delicious, and the beds were fantastic.

The guesthouse is close to the center, but it was completely quiet, and we slept better than we have in ages. The room was very clean, modern, and still cozy. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and lovingly prepared, a perfect finish to the stay. Mrs. Wanninger stopped for a short, pleasant chat. We had a delightful weekend and will definitely come back.

They only take cash, which I found pretty unusual for a guesthouse. The bigger issue for me was the response I got after booking through Booking.com. I’d politely asked whether there might be an allergy-friendly room, or a room with a cleaned or newer mattress. I wasn’t expecting them to buy one just for me, only wondering if some rooms had been fitted with newer ones. Instead, they said it was unreasonable to ask for a new mattress for just one night and told me to look elsewhere. A simple “Unfortunately, we don’t have one” would have been fine. That reply felt extremely unprofessional and inappropriate, so I can’t recommend the accommodation.

The room design could give plenty of hotel owners ideas for the future. We also had a lovely view and breakfast, and the hostess was so warm. For value for money, all of it really sets a benchmark. Thanks for having us.
