Hotel PURS

We booked two rooms at Hotel Purs, one in the “old” section and one in the “modern” part. Both were spacious, lovely, and clean. I’d never slept in a bed 60cm high before, so I had to climb into it, and I loved it! The free private parking across the street was convenient, and the hotel is centrally located. The map holding our key card made it very easy to find our way through the streets. Such a thoughtful touch. The staff made us feel welcome and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was served at the table with plates of meats, bread, and marmalades, plus fresh fruit, muesli with blue berry, and a choice of egg preparations. I couldn’t resist the pancakes, which were deliciously crispy at the edges and topped with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar. The food at breakfast and at restaurant Ai Pero Purs was absolutely delicious. We celebrated my mother-in-law’s birthday there, and she was surprised with a delicious little chocolate mousse cake and a lovely card. We had a wonderful time in the historical city of Andernach and are very grateful for the fabulous experience at hotel Purs (Steinweg 30-32)!

The breakfast was outstanding, and we got such a hearty welcome with top notch service. A fabulous boutique hotel. I’d recommend it to anyone who likes to indulge.

We loved the quiet, tranquil atmosphere throughout, and sitting with a coffee in the library was a treat. The room was beautiful, and everything about our stay was enjoyable. Perfect for a weekend away. Thank you.

The staff were amazing and so kind. We were going to miss breakfast, so they packed us lunch with snacks and fruit, and sent us off with water and sourdough bread at checkout. The food was delicious, and the bar snacks were very good too. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean, with allergy friendly options, including no feathers, and plenty of pillow choices. The staff at the sister hotel and restaurant were helpful as well. The bar was a cosy spot to unwind with a beer or cocktail at the end of the day. Highly recommend, and I’d love to stay again!
