The setting was perfect for walks and outings, and coming back to the chalet after a day outside was lovely. We stayed five days at Chalet Beim Wartner, and from the moment we arrived it felt comfortable and welcoming. The hosts were warm and relaxed, and Fritzi our cat settled in just as happily as we did. They were wonderfully accommodating with pets, which felt special. You can see the care and passion in the stylish, thoughtfully put-together place. We’d happily return.

The whirlpool and infrared sauna were our favorite parts of a few peaceful days in this lovely chalet. We had everything we needed, and the owners were always happy to share useful ideas for things to do nearby. We’d definitely recommend staying here. Best wishes, the Merz family.

We felt at home as soon as we arrived at Chalet Forsthaus. It was spotless, very comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The cozy setting in the Bavarian Forest made the stay feel especially nice, and we spent hours unwinding in the infrared sauna and whirlpool. Highly recommended! 😊

The garden pool and loungers made it easy to relax, and there’s also a sauna and a big balcony full of blooming flowers. We stayed for a wonderful week in the spacious first-floor holiday apartment with my parents, husband, sister, brother-in-law, and dog Ole. My sister and her husband could park their van right in front, and we had breakfast together. Dogs are welcome too. The hosts greeted us with sparkling wine, coffee, chocolate, and delicious jam, then helped make things easy with morning bread delivery. They also provided a large charcoal grill, firelighters, and candles. The apartment had plenty of dishes, spices, and kitchen equipment including a milk frother, along with books and information materials. It was clean, newly furnished, and well cared for, with a walk-in rain shower in the bathroom. We travel a lot and rarely find such a lovely, large apartment. The fiber internet was fast, excursions are possible nearby, and a nice guesthouse is only a few minutes away by car. We felt completely at home and thank Claudia and her family for a lovely stay. The whirlpool and infrared sauna were the icing on the cake :-) We were a group of girls staying at the "Forsthaus" chalet and had a great time. Claudia welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and then left us to enjoy our privacy. The rooms were beautifully furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we used the charcoal grill for a barbecue.
