The location works well if you're out late and just need somewhere to crash, but I wouldn't recommend it much beyond that. Coming back at night, the entrance felt pretty sketchy. There’s no elevator, and the staircase is awkward to climb. We didn't see any mold, so it wasn't as dirty as some reviews made it sound. Still, our rooms weren't clean, there were ants in the bathroom, and the shower was a little broken, though usable.

It's a simple hotel in a spot close to everything. You get what you pay for, and I was satisfied with my stay and have no complaints. I'd recommend it if being near everything is what you're after.

We stayed in the classroom themed room, with a blackboard and school items on the wall. The idea of giving each room a different environment is really cool, though the result wasn't perfect. Our Reeperbahn view was great, and I loved the nighttime noise, but some people might find it annoying. For the price it wasn't bad. Just know there’s no reception or lobby, and no elevator. We had to pay in a room and weren’t given a receipt. One morning, broken pieces of a glass shelf were scattered across the hallway after it had fallen overnight. There’s no breakfast at the hotel, though the nearby McDonald's is an option.
