Ferienwohnungen Riese - Farbenspiel

A really nice apartment.

The host was very kind and flexible when I asked to adjust the booking. Replies came quickly, usually within 25-30 minutes. The house was very clean and looked just like the photos. 10/10, would recommend.

The bathroom was the worst part of our stay. It wasn’t properly clean, with grime visible in the grout, and airing it out after a shower made no difference. There were also dirty corners in the otherwise okay living room and bedroom. The entrance and hall didn’t feel welcoming either, with cables hanging around and a downstairs front door that wouldn’t close, which didn’t inspire confidence. We stayed a few days with my boyfriend, and the place wasn’t what we expected. There was an old, musty smell as soon as we entered. The kitchen had plates, cups, cutlery, and glasses, but barely any of the basics for cooking. Old food had also been left in the cupboards.

We had to clean the apartment ourselves before we felt comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t clean, the kitchen was very dirty inside and out, and there was a lot of dust under the bed. It’s a very nice holiday apartment, but the cleanliness really let it down.
