I used Gasthof Heidis Art in the Oeventrop district of Arnsberg as a base for bus and train day trips around the Sauerland region. The varied, excellent breakfast set me up well for those outings. I stayed six days at the end of 2025 in a single room on the top floor. It was small but nicely arranged, had what I needed, and there was a refrigerator just outside the door. Heidi and all the staff were helpful and very friendly. I also joined the inn's local New Year's Eve celebration and had a fantastic start to the year. I was very satisfied with the stay and would happily book again.

The breakfast was fantastic, and everyone on staff was really friendly. I stayed one night; the room was basic, but very clean.

We found the rooms spacious and clean and felt very comfortable during our one-night stay. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with everything we could need. The price was excellent for what we got. We'd gladly recommend the place and plan to come back next year.

The building is quite old, so keep your expectations modest. The breakfast, though, was absolutely fantastic.

We stopped here while biking from Winterberg to Duisburg. Heidi and her wonderful team gave us a very friendly welcome, and there was good bike parking. Our room was plain but spotless, with a comfortable bed. The restaurant was closed because it was Monday, which was a shame, but the superb breakfast made up for it. A very positive stop, and thanks to the team.
