We’d like to thank the Kiesmüller family for such a lovely stay and wish them all the best and good health. The friendly locals were a refreshing change for us, and dogs are welcome in restaurants and can go almost everywhere. Our New Year’s Eve holiday with the family couldn’t have gone better. Booking and communication on site were straightforward. Monika and her mother were both so warm and accommodating, and they dealt with anything that needed attention right away. Aschau was a great choice for a holiday with a dog. We had hiking paths, streams, and waterfalls nearby, along with the little castle, Kampenwand, Lake Chiemsee, and the Austrian border. There was so much to do that seven days barely felt like enough. The cable car is right on your doorstep. Bright sunshine and lots of fresh snow made the trip even better. We especially liked taking evening walks along the Prien River through town, with little electric candles in lanterns scattered along the river making it feel romantic.

The hostess was friendly and helpful, and the apartment was very clean. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings at Haus Monika. It made an ideal base for all kinds of activities, with the cable car just a few minutes away. Highly recommended, and we’d love to return.

There’s plenty more for us to discover, so we’ll definitely come back. We spent mid-June in your little holiday apartment, dear Kiesmüller Family, and felt completely at home. The location really impressed us, peaceful but central, with several restaurants nearby. Our favorite was just a 5-minute walk away, and the gondola to Kampenwand was also only 5 minutes from the apartment. We had wonderful e-bike trips to Lake Chiemsee, Rosenheim, and the surrounding area. Thank you so much for your family’s warmth and hospitality, especially your mother! Andrea (+Silvia)

We stayed in apartment number 1, which had two balconies, while our friends were in apartment number 3. It was a rustic holiday apartment with everything we needed. We had a lovely stay and went on lots of interesting bike rides from there. We’d be happy to come back!

We got home from our holiday at Haus Monika in Aschau almost four weeks ago, but spent the whole drive back talking about the trip. We’re campers at heart, yet felt incredibly comfortable there. The apartment was beautifully furnished in Bavarian style, surrounded by green meadows, and in a fantastic location. Any request we made was taken care of promptly. Everything was simply superb. Many thanks to Mrs. Kiesmüller and her daughter for two wonderful weeks.
